For Crystal and Justin’s wedding, the venue was a no-brainer since Justin’s family owns the beautiful, charming, and timeless Cedarhurst Mansion in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. For the past fifteen years, this venue has hosted many events including multiple family members’ weddings. It was so special for Crystal and Justin to get to say “I do” here, too! Speaking of family- their day was FULL of loved ones. Over 450 loved ones to be exact. There was also over twenty kiddos in the wedding party, serving as flower girls, ring bearers, and sign holders! You could definitely feel the love all day long!
How They Met
Crystal and Justin met at a Halloween party in Madison. Crystal was a student at University of Wisconsin-Madison while Justin was visiting his sister that weekend to attend her Halloween party. When Crystal and Justin met at the party, they clicked and he asked her out two days later. They went on their first date at Sencha Tea Bar before Justin headed back home to Minnesota.
The Proposal
While Crystal was living abroad in Bangkok, Thailand for a fellowship, Justin visited her. On August 14, 2018, he proposed at the Red Sky Lounge, the most acclaimed rooftop bar in Bangkok (Google it- this place is GORGEOUS)! Of course, Crystal said yes! 🙂
