Teagan and Karsten’s engagement session at the Como Zoo Conservatory felt like stepping into a lush oasis in the middle of a Minnesota winter. Surrounded by layers of rich greenery and soft, glowing light, they completely owned the space. Teagan’s stunning red hair and flowing red dress created the perfect pop of color against the tropical backdrop, and Karsten matched her energy with his red and black suit and red sneakers. The bold coordination brought so much personality, confidence, and fun to their images.
This session was especially meaningful to me because I’ve known Karsten’s mom for years. She’s an incredible friend, and I’ve had the honor of photographing their family multiple times through my portrait studio. Being trusted to document this chapter of their lives means so much to me!
After enjoying the warmth of the conservatory, we bundled up and wandered through the glowing Christmas light displays, adding a cozy, festive finish to the evening.
