Congratulations, Jess and Wade! These two tied the knot at the Eagan Community Center in Eagan, MN. They chose this Minnesota wedding venue because they wanted their ceremony and reception at one location. Their ceremony was outside on the patio while the reception was inside in the community center’s ballroom. Fun fact: the bride decided to do DIY wedding floral and made all of the silk bouquets and silk boutonnieres!
Jess and Wade both went to Hastings High School, but they didn’t know each other until years later. In 2013, a mutual friend, Sarah (the maid of honor), invited both Jess and Wade to go tubing down the Cannon River for her birthday party. Jess and Wade hit it off and have been inseparable ever since. Fast forward to September of 2015. The couple had morning plans to meet up with some friends and tailgate before the Gopher football game. Jess overslept and was rushing to get ready while Wade kept telling her to come downstairs to “eat breakfast.” When she finally went to the staircase, she found a trail of flowers leading down the stairs and a series of signs asking, “Jessica Rose, will you marry me?” Wade was waiting on one knee at the bottom of the stairs. Of course, she said yes!
