Hope Glen Farm in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, is a truly one-of-a-kind wedding venue. Couples especially love the abundance of photo-worthy spots throughout the venue, from the stone wall and venue sign to the iconic red barn and expansive fields. One of the venue’s most unique touches is the overnight accommodations for newlyweds, who can stay in a treehouse-inspired suite or a cozy cottage. With its mix of rustic charm and chic elegance, Hope Glen Farm offers incredible versatility for any wedding celebration.
When the sun is shining, the outdoor ceremony site surrounded by trees and vineyard rows is absolutely breathtaking. The space features a white-framed door for the couple, a rustic arbor, and long benches that comfortably seat guests. One of my favorite touches is seeing florists get creative, decorating the aisle, arbor, and doors to make the ceremony even more magical.
The reception pavilion is a stunning open structure with a statement stone fireplace and vaulted ceilings adorned with chandeliers and cafe lighting. Long rectangular tables create a cozy, family-style seating for guests. On rainy days, the space also works perfectly as an alternative ceremony site in front of the fireplace.
The historic red barn dates back to the pre-Civil War era. Inside, it offers an open space for dancing or can double as a cocktail hour area. The barn also houses the bridal suite, complete with a makeup counter, full-length mirrors, and plenty of outlets for getting ready.
One of my favorite features of Hope Glen Farm is the four-story Tree House suite for newlyweds. This beautiful structure is built around a 150-year-old Oak tree. I love that couples don’t have to worry about traveling after the reception, and they can instead go straight to the tree house when the party is over. The tree house includes four outdoor decks, two fireplaces, a full kitchen, a jetted jacuzzi tub, and a rain shower.
