Kelly and Brian knew they wanted an art deco wedding with romantic, vintage details. Their wedding reception style was also influenced by the 1920’s era with classic cocktails, glamor, and everyone enjoying a good time! When choosing their wedding venue, Kelly and Brian knew they wanted to get married in a church. They chose Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church because of it’s stunning architecture and rich history. Plus, the church celebrates French Canadian heritage so it’s a nice nod to Brian’s French Canadian lineage. When choosing a reception venue, the couple decided on Lumber Exchange Event Center. They loved the character of the venue and found that the venue’s style fit best with their vintage wedding feel. The Lumber Exchange Event Center also just so happens to be the same building where Kelly and Brian first met back in 2016 at a bachelorette party! Brian had boldly approached Kelly’s friend’s bachelorette group and the girls told him that Kelly was single. His reply? “Not for long!” He was right!
