Hi, friend! I’m Jeannine, a photographer, mentor, and business owner.

I’ve built a thriving portrait and wedding business that not only supports my family, but also fills my life with meaning, creativity, and connection. I’ve created a career I love, but believe me, it didn’t happen overnight.

Let’s be real. Being a creative in business is hard.

That’s why I created a Mentographer Program, a space where photographers like you can find real support, honest guidance, and the tools to grow both creatively and strategically. Whether you’re finally pulling that flash out of the box, struggling to attract the right clients, or trying to increase your profits…rest assured, I’ve been there, too.

In fact, much of my early struggles weren’t just about business, it was about believing in myself as an artist. I lacked boundaries, wasn’t managing my time effectively, overthought every decision, and second-guessed my worth. Sound familiar?

Through mentors, education, and a commitment to growth, I turned a corner. And you can, too.

I invested in myself by surrounding myself with mentors in photography, business strategy, mindset, organization, and sales. They inspired me and motivated me. I moved from a tiny attic office to a full-service retail portrait studio supported by an amazing team. I discovered that the only way to grow was to go all in on education, community, and mindset.

Since then, I haven’t stopped learning. I attend national conferences like ImagingUSA and WPPI, stay active with my local TCPPA chapter, and seek out intimate retreats and workshops that reignite my creativity and sharpen my skills. I’ve also built lifelong friendships with fellow photographers across the country who remind me we’re never in this alone.

I’ve also hosted monthly workshops for Twin Cities creatives since 2015 through the St. Paul chapter of the Rising Tide Society. And in 2020, I rebranded my studio to focus on portrait art for families and empowering small businesses with branding portraits that actually connects.
