Eleven years ago, I photographed a wedding that Dalton was in as an usher. A year after that wedding, he met Katie. These high school sweethearts were just sixteen years old when they started dating in 2010! Nine years later, Dalton took Katie back to where they had their first kiss at Anoka High School and popped the question.
After over a decade together, they were so excited to plan their 2020 wedding. They decided to get married at The Mermaid Event Center because it’s where their high school class had their senior lock-in, and the couple decided it was the perfect place to host their big day. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, they had to postpone their original wedding for six months. On their fall wedding day, there was snow, rain, and sunshine – and these two weren’t going to delay anymore! Congratulations, Katie and Dalton!
