Robin + Andres

Robin and Andres got married at the Millennium Hotel Dome. They chose this unique Twin Cities wedding venue because they liked the wonderful structure of the venue and the stunning view of the skyline. Andres is a structural engineer so the structurally sound dome and backdrop of Minneapolis skyscrapers was very appealing. For their big day, the couple wanted to focus on creating a relaxed environment surrounded by love as those closest to them enjoyed the celebration.

How They Met

These two met back in June of 2016 at church. Andres was sitting next to a mutual friend, and Robin went to say hi to the friend. While Robin chatted with their friend, Andres introduced himself. In December of 2016, Robin and Andres met again. Robin didn’t really remember meeting Andres. A bit offended that their first meeting didn’t leave an impression, Andres decided to send Robin a friend request on Facebook. Well, Robin isn’t big on social media so it took three months for her to accept the friend request. Then the two finally went on their first date to Eli’s in Minneapolis. They’ve been together ever since! Imagine if Robin had accepted the friend request sooner! 😉

The Proposal

For Andres’ birthday, the couple went to Las Vegas. Andres arranged a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon. That’s where he popped the question! He recorded everything with a tripod!
