Redeemed Farm is a historic century-old farmstead in Scandia, MN. This new Minnesota farm wedding venue was listed as one of the Venue Report’s most stunning barns across the USA in 2017. I collaborated with some of my favorite vendors for a styled shoot that was inspired by the farm’s rustic charm and beautiful fields. Couples will be inspired by these up and coming trends with this royal purple, soft lavender, deep burgundy, and blush color scheme. Our bride and groom models are a real couple that got married three weeks after this styled shoot! Their authentic smiles and interactions showcase the fun of a farm wedding. The Redeemed Farm’s bridal suite is a Scandinavian cottage with white exposed wood and an upper loft area with skylights. To beat the summer heat on the farm, our bride is wearing a flowy A-line Leanne Marshall gown with a high slit and our groom is wearing a light gray suit. For couples that love animals, why not let the farm residents in on the fun? Our bride and groom were brave enough to be photographed with the farm owners, Julie and Jeff’s giant 17 hand black beauty horse. Couples tying the knot on a farm will also be inspired by these popular farm ceremony options: outside or under the barn loft, which isn’t a bad option for a plan B in case of bad weather. Our outdoor ceremony site is decorated with rustic crates, candles, and flowers. The wood arch is adorned with draping and hanging glass ball vases enclosed with fresh blooms and greenery. Our indoor ceremony site includes cascading drapery lusciously spilling from the top of the barn rafters, complimented with a chandelier, lanterns, flowers, vases, and log cuts. Our summer harvest table for the newlyweds and their wedding party showcases the use of different shades of purple, greenery, and draping to create a stunning focus for the reception. Above the table is a vintage ladder wrapped with greenery with hanging glass balls containing roses and greenery. A vintage buffet hutch with a ruffled backdrop, rustic log rounds, tiered stands, and florals displays a tiered cake, cupcakes, and cake pops. After some cake, a wedding favor that every guest will love is a gooey custom s’more from a s’mores bar. Our vendor team completely outdid themselves on this one!
