Nick and Emily’s rustic Minnesota wedding took place at Rolling Ridge Event Center in St. Joseph, MN. Shout-out to Kellie with Rustic Elegance for doing an amazing job coordinating the day! This was my first time shooting a wedding at this venue and I’m absolutely in love! There were so many fun spots for photos. Plus the space has a lot to offer- a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site, a bridal suite, a groom’s getting ready space, and a historic barn. Rolling hills and trees surrounded the area- it doesn’t hurt that the owners have a landscaping company too! Emily and Nick’s pink and navy wedding included a wedding party of 12 people, along with five adorable flower girls in mismatched dresses and floral crowns! It looked like there was going to be rain just over the ceremony time, but luckily it held off and they were still able to do their outdoor ceremony! Their ceremony musician, Michael Shynes, set the ambience for the ceremony and initiated a few tears! He has an incredible voice and is a great talent- if you haven’t heard him before, check out his music here! But my favorite part of the day was all of the smiles between the happy couple! Emily has the cutest nose-wrinkling smile! Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day, Emily and Nick!
