Catie and Matt had their fall wedding at the Science Museum of Minnesota in Saint Paul, MN! This couple met their first year at Macalester College while living on the same dorm floor. They didn’t start dating though until they reconnected at a mutual friend’s wedding back in 2014. They saw each other a few times before Catie flew to Kenya for four month. Thanks to Skype, they were able to stay in contact and then a trip to Copenhagen sealed the deal! Jump ahead to November of 2016, Matt planned a scavenger hunt around Rochester, NY for Catie. Cards were waiting at each location with clues for Catie to follow. At the end of the scavenger hunt, Matt was waiting to propose on the High Falls Bridge. Of course, Catie said yes!
These two were both science majors and have careers in the science field. Due to their love for science, the Science Museum of Minnesota was the perfect venue! The wedding theme was dinosaurs everything! Catie’s ring is even made out of dinosaur bones and meteorites! It was only fit that we got some photos photos with the museum’s dinosaur exhibit. Thanks so much you two for letting me be apart of your big day! This wedding was dino-mite!
