St. Paul College Club | Blue & Green Wedding | Sara + Jason

After their Twins baseball-themed engagement session at Target Field, I knew I would click instantly with Sara and Jason, and their wedding did not disappoint! They chose one of my favorite St. Paul venues for their big day: The St. Paul College Club, a setting that brings timeless elegance to every wedding. Their beautiful blue, sage, and white color palette mixed with floral details set the tone for a beautiful day!

After separate getting ready portraits, the couple took a private moment for their first look. No cameras, no audience, Sara and Jason wanted to focus on each other and being fully present in this special moment. Once they were ready, we took portraits around the mansion and lawns on this beautiful sunny, green afternoon!

Sara and Jason exchanged vows in a breathtaking outdoor ceremony, framed by lush green trees and glowing café lights, creating a perfectly romantic garden atmosphere.

The reception, beautifully styled by Linen Effects and Martha’s Gardens, featured white floral linens, blue charger plates, stunning floral centerpieces, and blue and sage green taper candles. Throughout their wedding planning, Sara and Jason shared how much they appreciated my photography for capturing every detail—from the people to the tablescapes to the venue itself. It was a joy to ensure that none of their thoughtful touches went unnoticed, including subtle nods to the Minnesota Twins, like Jason’s baseball cuff links and Twins hat bowls for serving ice cream at dessert. Adding to the excitement, a very special Minnesota guest joined the celebration: Governor Walz and his wife, Gwen. Meeting them was such a delight, and they brought an extra bit of fun to the day!

Sara and Jason’s wedding day was the perfect mix of timeless details and personal touches to create such a memorable day!
