The Gardens of Castle Rock in Northfield, MN. These two met at River Valley Church in Faribault, MN. Phillip was invited by a friend to attend a youth service there. Bethany just so happened to be a youth leader for the student ministry. Bethany and Phillip got to know each other through “some good laughs, appetizers from the local you the leader hangout, and some truly terrible Christian pick-up lines.” Ten months later, Phillip “got down on one knee and asked her to join him for a lifetime of adventures and be his partner in crime from here on out.” She said yes!
