Jenny and Kevin had their destination wedding at Windows on Minnesota in Minneapolis. These two just recently moved to the Twin Cities, so they decided they wanted to show off their new state. All but two of their guests traveled from out-of-state, so they chose to tie the knot on the 50th floor of the tallest building in all off the scenery. After being together for nine years, Jenny and Kevin were so thrilled to bring all of their favorite people from all over the world together in one place.

How They Met
Jenny and Kevin met at the University of Michigan when Jenny was a freshmen and Kevin was a junior. They were both involved in an Asian student organization. Jenny paid Kevin to give her driving lessons, and that’s where their friendship blossomed. By the following year, they were frequently chatting late at night about anything and everything. One night, Jenny sensed Kevin was going to ask her out so she instead suggested they grabbed lunch the next day because she wanted him to ask her in person. The next day at lunch, they were finishing their food and kevin still hadn’t asked. Finally, Jenny asked, “So do you want to date me or not?” Kevin replied, “Yes.”
The Proposal
On their eight-year anniversary, Kevin wanted to take Jenny to a fancy restaurant to celebrate their anniversary. Well, he ended up getting sick the week of their anniversary. He was still determined though and planned to take a much needed nap before going out to dinner. Jenny tried to cook at home or order takeout, but Kevin insisted they go out. He even looked up the dress code. Jenny knew something was up and began saying things like, “Ah, I see, you’re proposing tonight.” As they were getting ready to go out, she said, “Don’t forget the ring.” Kevin replied with, “You’re going to be disappointed.” As they put on their coats and prepared to leave the house, Kevin got down on one knee in their kitchen and popped the question.
