Costumes, face painting, lightsabers, and so much more! I had such a great time photographing the 2019 Minnesota Independence College & Community (MICC) Gala at Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot in Minneapolis. MICC is a nonprofit vocational and life skills training program for young adults with learning differences and autism spectrum disorders. This year’s gala’s theme was “Expedition Independence: What’s Your New Frontier?” to celebrate the spirit of exploration and limitless possibilities for students and graduates as they achieve independence. The gala included a silent auction, a live auction, wonderful speakers, a photo booth, a virtual reality game, excellent food, and one heck of an amazing dance party! Thank you for letting me be a part of this event!
