Katie and Calvin met in drama class at Century College and then they both attended Minnesota State University Mankato together. During Katie’s senior year at Mankato, Calvin took her to see Beauty & the Beast at Chanhassen Dinner Theaters. He popped the question there and they received a standing ovation from the crowd! For their big day, they decided to say “I do” in Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens in Minneapolis. Joanne, their event planner with Best Day Ever!, helped them create a beautiful day in this gorgeous space! One of my favorite parts of the day was the couple’s first look during the ceremony. Calvin turned his back to the aisle while waiting for Katie to walk to aisle. Once she was in position, Calvin turned around and his reaction was the absolute best!
