Robert and Raye knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding day: something simple, surrounded by nature, with their favorite people and their pup by their side. Their intimate wedding at Camden State Park was relaxed, full of laughter, and completely them!
THEIR LOVE STORY
These two met in Minneapolis last fall. Raye is originally from New York, and Robert grew up in Minnesota. Earlier this past summer, while in Chicago, Robert “proposed” at Ed Debevic’s, a fun 50’s themed diner. He actually asked Raye if they wanted to be “a financial and emotional liability for the rest of our lives.” Raye said yes, which tells you just about everything you need to know about these two. As they put it, “We’re just a pair of goofballs being goofballs.”
INTIMATE CEREMONY
Camden State Park was an easy choice for Robert and Raye’s wedding day. Raye has hiked and backpacked there for many years, and the area is near where Robert grew up. Plus, with an outdoor wedding, they could include their Shiba Inu, Winnie, who had the very important job of ring dog!
LOOKING FORWARD TO...
When I asked what they’re most looking forward to as the wedding day approaches, Robert said, “We’re excited for being married and starting to build a future together.” And their approach to that future sounds just right: “We do our best to find joy in everything!”
