Sammy and William met their freshmen year while on the swim team at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Jump ahead to their senior year! The couple has a tradition to visit Emma Krumbee’s Apple Orchard every year and that year, William decided to surprise Sammy by popping the question. Of course, she said yes! For their Prior Lake wedding, the couple wanted to keep to tradition by having their ceremony at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church, the church William attended while growing up. For the reception, the couple chose The Great Hall in St. Paul as their venue. They loved the beautiful space and the fact that it could comfortably fit all 300 of their guests.
