My cousin got married! Congratulations Kirsten and Jason! Their outdoor ceremony was at The Β Town Green followed by an indoor reception at The Crown Room in Maple Grove, MN. It’s been a long time coming for these two to tie the knot! On their tenth anniversary, they had dinner at 6 Smith in Wayzata, overlooking the lake. Kirsten actually knew about the plan beforehand, because, as she puts it, “Can it really be a surprise after 10 years?” Their server made sure everything was perfect for them. When Jason popped the question, Kirsten said yes! For their wedding, they wanted a lot of vibrant colors and just an overall high energy. Kirsten and her mom had fun planning the wedding together. They searched for goodies from thrift stores, junk shops, and antique shops for the DIY wedding decor. They collected these amazing gold animal figurines for the centerpieces! One of the favorites was the Prince Charming frog. They also included some small nods to their foster cats. Kirsten had a head band with cat ears and they had a cat cake topper. Their details were pretty purrfect! Their bright linens from We’ve Got It Covered and colorful floral arrangements designed by La Petite Fleur completed Kirsten’s vision from the reception. During the month of their wedding, Kirsten and Jason bought a house together- more room for more cats! This day was nothing short of amazing!
