For the past several years, I’ve had the honor of documenting the energy, connection, and culture behind WIPFLI’s annual Leadership Summit. This year, I had the opportunity to join their incredible team in Chicago to capture another unforgettable conference experience.
EDUCATION...BUT MAKE IT FUN
A great conference is about so much more than presentations and schedules. It’s about bringing people together, celebrating achievements, building relationships, and creating moments that strengthen a company’s culture. WIPFLI does an incredible job of creating an experience that inspires, connects, and energizes their team.
From keynote speakers and leadership panels to interactive breakout sessions, every part of the summit was thoughtfully designed to engage attendees and encourage collaboration. The WIPFLI team knows how to balance meaningful professional development with fun experiences that allow their people to connect outside of the traditional work environment.
And yes, they even know how to keep everyone fueled with some of the best conference snacks!
HEADSHOT STATION
Beyond documenting the speakers, sessions, and candid moments throughout the event, I also had the opportunity to provide an onsite headshot station for attendees. This allowed team members to update their professional portraits conveniently during the conference without needing to schedule a separate photo appointment.
A headshot station is a great addition to conferences, leadership retreats, and company events because it creates an easy, low-stress way for employees to refresh their online presence while they are already gathered together. Attendees can step in between sessions, receive professional guidance, and select their favorite image immediately after their portrait is taken.
PEOPLE FIRST MINDSET
One of my favorite parts of photographing WIPFLI’s Leadership Summit is seeing how much they genuinely invest in their team. From the thoughtful conference programming to the evening celebrations at Chicago favorites like The Hampton Social – River North and SPIN Chicago, it’s clear this is a company that values connection, recognition, and creating meaningful experiences for their employees.
