I’ve had the honor of photographing and sponsoring the American Cancer Society’s Champions of Hope Gala for the past few years, and it remains one of the most meaningful events I cover.
This year’s gala, hosted by the CEOs Against Cancer of Minnesota Chapter and the 2025 Executive Board, took place at the OMNI Viking Lakes Hotel, perfectly complementing the Nordic Glam theme. Guests came together for a powerful evening featuring a live auction, survivor testimonials, and a fully hosted food and beverage experience.
The heart of the night is always in the stories. Survivors, caregivers, and families remind us exactly why we show up and support this mission. Hearing what the American Cancer Society makes possible and photographing the reactions, connections, and emotion in the room is a privilege. These images help continue the ACS mission long after the event ends. Progress is real, but the work is not done.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and shared their stories. An even bigger thank you to every caregiver, fighter, and survivor. Together, the gala raised an incredible $1,003,161.
