I recently had the opportunity to photograph the Metropolitan Alliance of Connected Communities (MACC) Senior Leadership Meeting, where leaders from 65 nonprofit organizations gathered in one room. That alone is powerful.
This year’s meeting carried a Broadway-inspired theme at Capri Theater in Minneapolis. From playful details to big, bold moments, the theme set the tone while still honoring the important work at hand.
What stood out most wasn’t the décor or the theme. It was the intention. These nonprofit leaders came together to share gratitude, strengthen connections, and collaborate across organizations.
Meetings and events like this matter.
They create space for leaders to step out of the day-to-day demands of their work and reconnect with the bigger picture. They remind us that lasting impact doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens through shared vision, trust, and collaboration.I’m grateful to MACC for trusting me to capture this gathering and the people behind the mission.
