Jenny and Austin’s engagement session in downtown Minneapolis near the Stone Arch Bridge on a beautiful spring evening felt surreal in the best way! I have photographed Austin’s family for many years, so standing there documenting this new chapter for him honestly stopped me in my tracks for a second. Time moves fast!
I’m so glad the weather was perfect for Austin and Jenny. The soft spring light, the Minneapolis skyline, and the way these two glance over at each other and break out into contagious big smiles!
It’s such a joy to photograph family portraits, and then suddenly witness these children growing into young adults! This engagement session is a precious reminder of one of the many reasons I love what I do! It is such an honor to witness generations and milestones unfold right in front of me. I cannot wait to photograph Austin and Jenny’s big day later this year!
