In April of 2026, the Woodbury Community Foundation welcomed neighbors, partners, and supporters to Central Park in Woodbury, MN for its annual fundraising gala, Friends Fest.
This year was especially meaningful because after years of hosting the event in neighboring cities due to limited space, Freinds Fest finally returned home to Woodbury. And to celebrate, the event drew inspiration from The Wizard of Oz for a “There’s No Place Like Home” theme.
As the event photographer, I had an absolute blast documenting this Twin Cities gala. From all the fun colorful themed decorations to so many guests dressing up in emerald, poppy red, or like their favorite characters. I had so much fun preserving this evening filled with heart, courage, generosity, and hometown pride.
