Pinter’s Event Center | Summer Iowa Wedding | Madison + Austin

I packed up my cameras and gear and made the drive south from Minnesota down to Iowa for Madison and Austin’s wedding at Pinter’s Event Center. Their day was focused on having fun & being surrounded by family, which was even more special as they celebrated the day with their three-month-old baby.

Madison and Austin chose a simple yet elegant emerald green and gold wedding color scheme, with greenery and baby’s breath throughout the details.

THEIR LOVE STORY

Madison and Austin met at a high school track meet, which Madison was competing in. After, Austin added her on Snapchat and their relationship bloomed from there.

When Austin knew he wanted to propose, he put together the ultimate surprise for Madison. Knowing she loves the Rotary Lights, he made sure his family and Madison’s family were present as he proposed to Madison in the light tunnel, her favorite part of the display.

THE CEREMONY

The ceremony took place at Pinter’s Event Center‘s outdoor amphitheater. Surrounded by stonework and stunning scenic views, it was a beautiful place for Madison and Austin to say “I do.”

Madison and Austin chose to wait to see each other until the ceremony, and watching their eyes meet as Madison walked towards Austin is one of my favorite moments.

Another meaningful part of the ceremony was that Madison’s grandpa stood at the front and officiated their wedding. There’s something so full-circle about being married by the person who has known you your whole life, and watching him guide Madison and Austin through their vows was a moment the whole room felt.

Family and friends stepped in as ceremony musicians too, filling the space with music made by the people who love them most. Madison and Austin’s ceremony was truly built by family, start to finish.

THE RECEPTION

The reception took place inside the barn, which is stunning with the exposed wood and open layout. As Madison and Austin entered the room with Austin also holding their daughter, it was so special to see them walk past their photo display of all the couples who came before them including their parents and grandparents and so on.
