For Maddie and William’s winter engagement session, we went all over Saint Paul! We started at Block Studios for some indoor shots and then walked around West Saint Paul to get a few photos out in the snow. Then we ventured over to the University Club of Saint Paul because of the classic, elegant style of this venue. With chandeliers, a library, a bar, and gorgeous windows, I couldn’t resist playing around with the different elements of this venue. After the University Club, we went to the Highland Theater. Since the couple is having a Hollywood themed, black-tie wedding at The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis later this year, it only seemed right to get some photos with this iconic Saint Paul movie theater! For those who don’t know, Maddie is a dear wedding friend of mine! I first met Maddie when she delivered cakes for a cake business she used to own. I introduced myself to her and invited her to come to a Twin Cities Wedding & Events Professionals (TCWEP) meeting. Since then, Maddie has started her own wedding and event planning business, Ask for the Moon Events. I have photographed many weddings and styled shoots with Ask for the Moon and always love working with this wonderful lady! I am simply delighted and honored to be by my beautiful friends on their wedding day!!!
