One of my favorite Minnesota wedding barn venues is Mayowood Stone Barn in Rochester, MN! The original property dates back to the early 1900’s. The barn was designed by Charles William Mayo and Alice Mayo. The Mayo family used to host carnivals and barn dances for the community. In 2007, Mayowood Stone Barn was purchased from the Mayo family by a private group. They host special events and weddings. The barn ceremony sites and reception area can host up to 250 guests! They have a beautiful outdoor ceremony site, an indoor ceremony site, an indoor reception hall, a bridal suite, a groom suite, and so many options for beautiful photos!
