International Live Events Association (ILEA) held their September meeting at The Holden Room in Minneapolis. With 5,000 square feet, The Holden Room is a very unique wedding and event venue. ILEA, an organization that offers educational and networking events to professionals in the live events industry, celebrated their Minneapolis-St. Paul chapter’s 20th anniversary at the September meeting. There was also an educational program that focused on The Future of the Industry. The panel included global wedding expert Mari Carmen Obregón with The WOW Effect, local technologist Hal Lovemelt with Feedback, creative production and design strategist Keri Miller with e=mc2 events, and Midwest chef Phillip Dorwart with Create Catering. The meeting’s moderator was Amy, a Creative Director with Amy Zaroff Events & Design.
