There’s now two less fish in the sea! Congratulations, Katelyn & Joey! These two have known each other since junior high! They also went to the same high school and sat next to each other in Biology class. Joey would hit on Katelyn, but she didn’t pick up on it! Eventually, they started dating and in 2014, the two went on a fishing trip for a week. While on the trip, Joey got down on one knee. In Katelyn’s words: “I knew it was coming when I saw that so I got all excited and was jumping up and down. He said, ‘let me ask!’. I said, ‘okay’ and backed up. He asked, then I replied with a big grin, ‘Gee I don’t know.’ We love to tease each other so it was very us!” It’s very fitting that the theme of their wedding is rustic fishing. They picked this theme because Katelyn wanted Joey to be just as excited as she is about the wedding, including the planning process.
